Our story

The Villa Jaliel built for the first festival in 1939 was completely destroyed and later rebuilt. In 1939 the festival was cancelled because of the war but in 1946 many stars flocked to the lavish receptions given by the owner of the place, a patron of French art.

French actress Michele Morgan and Jean Cocteau, French poet, artist, writer and film director, are seen at the Villa Jaliel. The actress received the Best Actress Award that year for Jean Delannoy's La Symphonie Pastorale…

Villa Jaliel is located in the popular residential area of Petit-Juas.

Its new owner has completely renovated it and restored it to its authentic splendor while bringing in 21st century technologies.

Villa Jaliel is today a fabulous living space where the words “comfort”, “luxury” and “art of living” take on their full dimensions.

The villa, located on a plot of 600 m², is spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 12 people.
